EVIDENCE FROM ASTRONOMY

Evolutionary scientists believe that matter spewed from exploding stars was used to form planets. They teach that the solar system and the sun formed from this great cloud of compacting gas. Yet they have no undisputed explanation for why Mars, Earth, Venus and Mercury do not have the same high percentage of hydrogen and helium as our sun and the rest of the visible universe. Less than 1% of these planets are composed of hydrogen and helium.

How could this be, given the current prevalent theory that our solar system is the result of a condensing  cloud of hydrogen gas? How could 99.86% of the mass within our solar system (our sun) be made of hydrogen and helium, while the four planets closest to the sun are composed almost entirely of heavier elements?

Something is seriously wrong with the theory of solar system evolution, which is being taught to our children as if it were a fact.

THE MOON

Have you considered. . . .

We could not breathe without the moon! Day in and day out earth’s moon causes the ocean tides. The moon’s gravity pulls upon the water as it orbits the earth resulting in the water bulging, and we experience high tides while some parts have low tides. As the earth rotates, the moon causes two high tides and two low tides every 24 hours. When these high tides wash up on shore. they drag back into the ocean anything in its path, including impurities. These impurities are then eaten by microbes deep within the oceans. The high tides are actually cleaning our shorelines! What if there was no moon? Our oceans would not have [sufficient]  tides resulting in stagnant and stinking oceans. Sea life would die, ocean plant life would also die. Much of earth’s oxygen comes from plants in the ocean. If sea plants died, we would not have sufficient oxygen for life. Our very breath is dependent on lunar tides!

Our Creator has given us an unusually large moon with enough gravity to pull on the ocean waters. He provides everything we need! Count your blessings.

GREAT SCIENTISTS

It is false to say that you cannot be a true scientist if you believe in creation. The very founders of the scientific methods and the scientists who developed some of the most important foundational principles of modern science were primarily creationists. Creationists find themselves in the company of great men of science such as Robert Boyle, George Washington Carver, Michael Faraday, John Ambrose Fleming, James Joule, Lord Kelvin, Carolus Linneaus, Matthew Maury, Joseph Clerk Maxwell, Gregor Mendel, Samuel F.B. Morse, Isaac Newton, Louis Pasteur, William Ramsay and Leonardo da Vinci. Many scientists, such as Carolus Linnaeus, George Washington Carver and Matthew Maury, claim to have received their inspirational ideas directly from the Bible. There are also many creation scientists today who are top in their fields. Their, belief in creation and a young earth has not proven to be a hindrance, but actually an asset to their scientific endeavors.

The discoveries of these great men of science are a testament to their belief in the Creator of a designed universe. Their Confidence to pursue scientific discoveries was and continues to be a natural outcome of their belief that discovering how the world works is possible because the universe is the product of an intelligent and all-powerful Designer of order.

THE SUNDEW PLANT

Have you considered this marvel from biology?

The Sundew Plant traps insects with its long red hairs. The tips of these hairs emits a smell that entices insects to visit. Upon an insect’s arrival, it gets stuck to the thick fluid on one of the leaves. Then the leaf closes around the insect and is digested. By this hunting method, the sundew has gained the essential proteins it needs for life. That an odd way of hunting, the food has come to it! How did all these mechanisms – the exact smell for attraction, the sticky fluid on the leaf, the closing of the leaf and the right digestion chemicals – come about? If one was missing, no lunch for the plant! All had to be present from the start in order to work. Only the Master Designer could have set up this style of hunting right from the beginning.

The eagle’s diving speed can exceed 100 miles per hour. At this speed, the eagle’s eyesight must be perfect in order to know exactly when to pull out of a dive. Its eyes are designed to spot a rabbit or fish up to one mile away. The eagle also has remarkably designed wings, each covered by over 12,000 feathers. Aircraft designers are still trying to copy this engineering marvel.

Besides the ability to climb to 10,000 feet within minutes, the parent eagle also assists its young in flight. As it flies alongside the eaglet, whirlpools of air formed by its primary feathers provide the eaglet with additional lift.

In speaking of His protective care over the nation of Israel, God states, “. . . I bare you on eagle’s wings . . .”  (Exodus 19:4 KJV)  The Hebrew word for “bare” is nacah and its primary root means to “lift”. This is exactly what the parent does to help its young in flight.

The precise selection and meaning of words used in the Bible is testimony to both the accuracy and precision of this remarkable book.

Biblical Uniqueness

Any study of man’s history will prove that the Bible had (and still has) a unique and profound influence. The Bible give us a proper perspective on all vital human issues, including marriage, raising children, finances, government, the judicial system, equal rights, aging, poverty, health, work, ecology, education, entertainment, etc. The basis for the world’s laws and ethics all originate in  God’s Word. Even the seven-day work week, which was given at creation, has become the worldwide standard pattern. No other source for this cycle has ever been offered.

The Bible tells us that God  is good and there is absolutely no darkness in  Him (Mark 10:18, 1 John 1:5) Throughout history whenever Christianity has been blamed for atrocities, one always finds major deviations from God’s Word. Conversely, whenever the Bible is believed and followed, people live in harmony. Even a skeptic has to stand in awe of the Bible’s unique influence and profound insight.

Many people believe that the universe is infinitely old and has been around forever. They believe that the universe does not have a creator, because the universe is all there is. The fact that the universe is not uniform in temperature disproves this fact belief.

One of the most fundamental laws of the universe is that heat always flows from hot to cold. In other words, left to itself, a hot object eventually cools down. Yet our universe is full of hot objects. If the universe were infinitely old, the temperature throughout the universe should be uniform. Several logical deductions can be drawn from this observation:

  • Since the temperature of the universe is not uniform, the universe is not  infinitely old.
  • If the universe is not infinitely old, it must have had a beginning.
  • Since the universe had to have a beginning, it must have had a creator; because something cannot come from nothing. (The Law of Biogenesis)

The Bible is the only book which describes the character, methods, and purpose of that Creator. We owe it to ourselves to study both the universe when HE made and the book that HE has inspired. both will allow us to know this Creator better.

The insect commonly known as the locust is a remarkable creation. One type of female locust has an ovipositor (a sort of knife) located in front of her mid-section. When she is ready to deposit eggs,  she will land on a suitable tree branch and use the ovipositor to make slits in the bark. She then deposits her eggs inside the bark and goes away to never see her offspring. After the baby locusts hatch, they crawl down the tree, burrow into the ground, and live on the juices from the roots of the tree.  Seventeen years later they come to the surface of the ground as full-grown locusts.

It has been reported that some locusts come to the surface seventeen years later to the day! The theory of evolution can not account for the locust. God’s creativity is beyond comprehension!

EVOLUTION: THEORY or SOMETHING ELSE?

The following definitions are taken from the Oxford English and the World Book Dictionaries and is quoted here from an article written by Dr. Dave Demick, M.D. in Think & Believe published by Alpha Omega Institute, September / October 2005.

SCIENTIFIC LAW—- A regular pattern of occurrence of natural events, so regular and predictable that there are few or no exceptions. The fewer the exceptions to a law, the better established it is.

FACT —- That which exists, something witnessed firsthand, a datum of experience (plural: data)

THEORY —- A framework of scientific explanation concerning a certain phenomenon or group of phenomena, which has gained validity by showing predictive power or explaining newly observed facts.

HYPOTHESIS —- A tentative scientific explanation for a set of observed facts, subject to future proof (or disproof) through further observation / experimentation. The usual progression is that a hypothesis graduates to being a theory.

CONJECTURE —- An opinion or conclusion based on incomplete information; a guess.

Take every statement made about evolution and judge that statement according to the above definitions. You will find that each evolutionary statement falls short of  each definition except conjecture. Every “proof” that has been touted as “proof of evolution” has eventually been exposed as a fraud or seriously misrepresented. See future posts for many examples of these misrepresentations.

OPENING COMMENTS

Dear Reader:

The posts presented here will challenge many of things you were taught in school and taught surreptitiously on TV and in the movies. We were also taught a multitude of lies through the radio and nearly every magazine and newspaper you have ever read. Sadly, we have even been taught the lies of evolution though many religious venues. Consequently, we have all been EVOLUTIONIZED. This simply means that all of us have been bombarded with partially true, false, fraudulent and scientific sounding information which, when examined more closely, we discover the real truth about evolution and creation.

This subject has caused serious public debate over the last 150 years. The debate between Creation and Evolution is frequently called a debate between Faith and Science and I agree. Evolution requires so much faith that all scientific law and scientific facts must be ignored, twisted and fraudulently presented in order to show evolution as fact and creation as faith. GOD’s WORD is 100% accurate and it has been proved over and over scientifically, mathematically, medically and prophetically. These posts will demonstrate, through science, which can be seen all around us, the accuracy of GOD’s WORD when HE said, “Then GOD saw everything that HE had made, and indeed it was very good.” (Genesis 1:31 NKJ).

Another poignant verse to be considered, “We perish for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6) These posts will give you that knowledge which will streghten your faith and help you to “. . . be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you . . . ” (1 Peter 3:15 KJV)

Many of these posts will be taken from a variety of publications. Each source will be mentioned with each fact. All entries are considered the property of its individual authors. Most importantly, these posts are to be remembered, shared, saved, discussed as well as researched further as you continue to strengthen your faith.
